Female education paragraph
In our county the condition of the female education in the poor family is frustrating. When a girl is born in a poor family, it is not regarded as a happy event. They think that she has come to add to the sufferings to her parents. They seldom think of sending her to school. They think that educating their daughters is just wasting of time. The parents try to find a husband for his daughter even before they attain physical and mental maturity. Some people strongly oppose female education. They only believe in women’s traditional role of a mother, a wife and a home maker. These barriers in the way of female education are to be changed. Women are nowadays as important as men in society. They constitute nearly half of our total population. So there can be no denying the fact that they too possess equal rights and duties as men do. They have noble missions to fulfil as men. If they get opportunity, their genius, powers and capacities will bloom fully. No nation can make real progress keeping a full half of its population in the dark. Without the uplift of women, the progress of the nation is not at all possible. Again without education women can not be elevated. Mothers women play an important part in moulding the character of their children. There is a saying in English that the hands that rock the cradle rule the world. So every woman is a potential mother. The future of a child depends on how it is brought up and educated in childhood. Naturally an educated mother is expected to bring up and educate her children better than an uneducated mother. All necessary steps should be taken to encourage the people especially the poor and uneducated people to give their girl children education. They should be made conscious of the importance of female education. The poor children should be helped economically so that they can continue their study.

একটি দরিদ্র পরিবারে জন্মগ্রহণ, এটি একটি সুখী ঘটনা হিসাবে গণ্য করা হয় না. তারা মনে করেন, সে তার বাবা-মায়ের কষ্ট বাড়াতে এসেছে। তারা খুব কমই তাকে স্কুলে পাঠানোর কথা ভাবে। তারা মনে করেন, তাদের মেয়েদের লেখাপড়া করানো সময়ের অপচয় মাত্র। বাবা-মা শারীরিক ও মানসিক পরিপক্ক হওয়ার আগেই তার মেয়ের জন্য স্বামী খোঁজার চেষ্টা করে। কিছু লোক নারী শিক্ষার তীব্র বিরোধিতা করে। তারা শুধুমাত্র একজন মা, একজন স্ত্রী এবং একজন গৃহকর্তার নারীর ঐতিহ্যগত ভূমিকায় বিশ্বাসী। নারী শিক্ষার পথে এসব বাধা পরিবর্তন করতে হবে। নারীরা আজ সমাজে পুরুষের মতোই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। তারা আমাদের মোট জনসংখ্যার প্রায় অর্ধেক গঠন করে। সুতরাং এ সত্য অস্বীকার করা যায় না যে তারাও পুরুষদের মতো সমান অধিকার ও কর্তব্যের অধিকারী। তাদের পুরুষ হিসাবে পূরণ করার মহৎ মিশন আছে। সুযোগ পেলে তাদের প্রতিভা, ক্ষমতা ও সামর্থ্য পরিপূর্ণভাবে ফুটে উঠবে। কোনো জাতিই তার অর্ধেক জনসংখ্যাকে অন্ধকারে রেখে প্রকৃত উন্নতি করতে পারে না। নারীর উন্নতি ছাড়া জাতির অগ্রগতি আদৌ সম্ভব নয়। আবার শিক্ষা ছাড়া নারীকে উন্নত করা যায় না। মা নারীরা তাদের সন্তানদের চরিত্র গঠনে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। ইংরেজিতে একটা কথা আছে যে হাত দ্যাট রক দ্য ক্র্যাডল শাসন করে। তাই প্রত্যেক নারীই একজন সম্ভাব্য মা। একটি শিশুর ভবিষ্যত নির্ভর করে শৈশবে কীভাবে তাকে লালন-পালন করা হয় এবং শিক্ষিত করা হয় তার ওপর। স্বাভাবিকভাবেই একজন শিক্ষিত মা তার সন্তানদের একজন অশিক্ষিত মায়ের চেয়ে ভালো করে লালন-পালন ও শিক্ষিত করবেন বলে আশা করা হয়। জনগণকে বিশেষ করে দরিদ্র ও অশিক্ষিত জনগণকে তাদের কন্যাশিশুদের শিক্ষা দিতে উৎসাহিত করার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় সকল পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করতে হবে। তাদেরকে নারী শিক্ষার গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন করতে হবে। দরিদ্র শিশুদের অর্থনৈতিকভাবে সাহায্য করা উচিত যাতে তারা তাদের পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যেতে পারে।
