Paragraph on road accident
An accident that is generally taken place on roads is called a road accident. It is mainly caused by vehicles of people every year accident. There has been an alarming rise in road accidents in Bangladesh over the past few years. It occurs frequently in any part of our country. Every day we find the news of road accidents in the newspaper. Road accidents cause a great loss to people. Road accidents occur primarily due to the reckless driving of drivers. They often go almost mad to overtake without caring about traffic rules. Sometimes, unfit vehicles are taken to the roads. These unfit vehicles cause road accidents. Moreover, the roads and highways of our country are not wide enough. Most of them are narrow. This is another reason for causing road accidents. Road accidents cause severe damage. People die a lot. The effect of road accidents is pathetic. Road accidents cause great loss to our economy. They not only destroy vehicles but also damage many families. Road accidents take the lives of people mercilessly. So, preventive measures should be taken to minimize road accidents. The drivers should be trained. They should be punished for disobeying traffic rules. Old vehicles should not be allowed to ply on road. Pedestrians should be encouraged to use the footpath and over the bridge while crossing the road. People from all walks of life should come forward to tackle the problem jointly. Last, of all, the government should initiate a program to tackle it and enforce law and order strictly to curb road accidents.
